IF IT WAS RUSSIAN, IT WOULD BE INTERESTING

Using version 1.1.0 I still cannot get the right most ritual to activate. I get the message about needing someone with royal blood, even with characters who otherwise seemingly would be able to activate it, even with the MC herself. At first I thought it was that "royal blood" is extremely limited, and only MC and her "sister" could qualify, but while both MC and sister can activate the left ritual, no one can activate the right ritual.

Sorry, found the issue and I'll upload the fix soon.

Will there, perchance, be a guide released for the game? Be it for patreons or for purchase?

Been having fun, but Chapter 5 is not balanced. Either you walk across the river and skip everything or deal with an absurdly strict time limit. I was on the last turn and was only able to make it because I had one of my units just run for the exit. Then, three longbow jerks decided to spawn in and could have blocked my path. Keep in mind that I am very experienced with Fire Emblem and that Chapters 1-4 are easy even on Hard mode. 15 Turns is just not enough time. I was thinking that maybe after Turn 15 a bunch of super-strong enemies should show up at spawn as a death squad, but then the bridge suddenly appeared nearly destroying my run 2 turns from the finish.

mac port when?

Is this a bug ? I can not do the ritual with the right circle, although I can with the left.

I think I've fixed it now, thx for reporting it.

With the full game out now, will you add an android port?

How do you turn off the info in the corners? It's taking up more screen space than I'd like, and the Objective covers up the pop-up portrait.

It's not modifiable on your end. I'll look into changing it on my end or by making it togglable.

This is probably a really annoying piece of advice to be giving when you're already this far into the project, but a good rule of thumb for mapping in strategy games is to extend your maps a little beyond the intended "playable area" so that nothing much is really going on right at the very edges and corners of the map, where the UI can get in the way.

In attached image, I've already scrolled the view to the bottom of the map, but even still it's difficult to see what's going on in the corners because of the UI elements. If you add a few more tiles of cave wall and tunnel in the south, the player would be able to just move the view even further down and the UI would stop being in the way.

What's your next game about?

It'll be a TG/Corruption game with monster girls and other things.

Is it possible to actually tg liam without him leaving?

nvm question answere

are you ever going to swap out the ai art for non ai stuff (i always assumed they where places holders) if so when would you switch them out

(+1)(-1)

If I did it it would be pretty far into the future but atm I don't have any plans to. A lot of the images have a lot more effort and editing put into them than ppl might realize like adding entire limbs or redrawing the hair to match the character.

(1 edit) (-1)

I mean you're only in 0.30 so you have time and honestly if these are only partially ai and you're doing things like redrawing limbs at this point you might as well just draw it yourself I wondered why the AI was so consistent but honestly using the AI is a base for these characters isn't necessarily a problem you could just redraw them entirely yourself you've got the time at least before release anyway (also adding levels above 30 would be very cool to)

I don't draw it myself because even though I learned how to draw I just didn't enjoy doing it so I focus on writing now.

I cant find anywhere that mentions what Engine the game runs on. Im stuck using Mac so i often have to jump through the hoops of porting myself but E need to know the engine first.

it uses srpg studio

Would this game work on Winlator or any other window's emulator?

Review: Technically unplayable. The game will refuse to run in fullscreen mode, or even adjust window size. The combat is a bit awkward (similar to fire emblem with a little less clarity) but what's much worse is the controls. Pressing esc leads only to the 'close game' option, right click is the only way to exit a menu but it also cancels moves and text - scroll sometimes lets you view the chat history and sometimes not. Ending a turn is difficult because clicking on an empty square leads you straight to the settings menu and not 'end turn' button - and if you misclick then you'll have to right click twice, to exit the settings and then the general menu as well. There is no tab button for selecting the next character with a free turn. Additionally, the story is lacking a proper introduction to our main character or our various love interests/victims, not to mention, the corruption/swap is goes by too quickly, with no buildup or tension (though it might get better further onwards). Lastly, the main game menu where you choose battles/options is a bit confusing - hard to tell which are the main story missions vs sidequests. And there's no dialogue rewind for figuring out what you may have missed.

This is a bit of a shame because, well, it seems like it's shaping up to be a good Fire Emblem style game with real potential to be good! I really like the main character's design and appearance it is quite fitting as well. If there weren't so many technical/UI/Quality of Life issues to overcome, it would probably be a very good lewd strategy game so hopefully those will be fixable/changeable eventally~

The controls are standard across all the games made with this game engine. The game engine just copies what gba fire emblem games use and of course is using keyboard controls. The F4 key is for fullscreen. If you have any issues with the ui and controls, like I said, they are just the standard across games of this type that are on pc.

Well a simple fix, when you start the game, it shows you what each button does. You shouldnt be bitching about the game if you dont read the basic tutorial.

Do you think that you could figure a way to get it to work on Joiplay, or is that out of the question?

Will this game be put onto different devices, like Mac or mobile?

Probably not unless I find some way to do it
